The system has an objective system (OL), an image erecting system (PS) and an observation system (EP). The objective system has a positive refractive power first lens (L1) with at least one aspherical surface, and a two more lenses (L2,L3), one of which is positive and one negative. The first lens is moved in perpendicularly to the optical axis to provide vibration compensation, in response to vibration applied to the observation instrument.
