The lock includes a rotating trap (11), in which a locking part (10) pulls in when closing the door. An element (47) driven by an electric motor (40) serves for lifting a latch (20) from a main latching part (17) in the trap. A force storage element (22) with a force storage (30) pushes with a shoulder (32) against an opposite shoulder (33) on the latch to pull the latch from the trap, both in a normal case, as well as in a special case, e.g. at a crash. A control surface (23) and an opposite control surface (29) are located at the force storage element, whereby an additional force, necessary in the special case for the pulling out the latch, passes indirectly over the storage element onto the latch. The energy produced successively in both motor operating phases are transferred from the shoulder of the storage element to the opposite shoulder of the latch.
