The arrangement has a lock (1) foldably secured at a component of a vehicle door (2), -flap or -front lid. A striker is attached to the lock and arranged at a component of a vehicle body. Form-fit elements (4, 5) and an adhesive bond are provided between the lock and the component of the door and/or the striker and the component of the body. The adhesive bond is provided for receiving a normal load and form-fit elements are provided for receiving forces during overload. The elements are formed as latches and guiding elements for the lock and/or the striker during assembly. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembly of a lock arrangement for a vehicle door.
