DNA probe (I) for detecting sequences of transplant antigens DRB1, DPB1 and/or DQB1 comprising 1 of 46 nucleotide sequences ((I)-(XLVI)) of 24-29 residues given in the specification, is new. DNA probe (I) for detecting sequences of transplant antigens DRB1, DPB1 and/or DQB1 comprising 1 of 46 nucleotide sequences ((I)-(XLVI)) of 26-29 residues given in the specification. E.g.: cat cta taa cca aag agg agt ccg tga (I); cgt gcg ctt cga cga cga cgt ggg gga gt (IX); cat cta caa ccg gga gga gta cgt gc (XVI); act ccc cca cgt cgc tgt cga agc gca cg (XXVIII); and cgc gcg ctt cga cag cga cgt ggg (XL). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) detecting sequences of transplant antigens DRB1, DPB1 and/or DQB1 is characterised that for the amplification of their exon 2 5'-nuclease assay allele-specific primer and: (a) a thermostabile DNA-polymerase with exon nuclease activity and a fluorescence-labelled (I), which can be widened by non-specific spacers; or (b) an RNA polymerase which amplifies the sequence via RNA and a fluorescence-labelled (I); and (2) a test kit for carrying out the method above, comprising (I) and suitable primers.
