Using optical fibre non-parallel bundle for visual and measuring applications

The method uses bundles of non-parallel fibres for visual and measuring applications. Light is coupled into a coupling-in end of the bundle and is coupled out of a coupling-out end. The individual light fibres are marked at the coupling-out end and their coordinates are determined. Then, each fibre noted at the coupling-out end is determined, at the coupling-in end and its coordinates are set. Finally, the position of the individual fibres at the coupling-out end are converted to the coordinates of the corresponding fibres at the coupling-in end.
