摘要

An epoxy hardener compsn. comprises the reaction prod. of (a) a poly(alkylene oxide) mono- or diamine having a Mn of 500-3000; and (b) a polyepoxide in a ratio of epoxide gps. to active amine hydrogen atoms of 1.1:1-6:1 to yield and intermediate which is reacted with a polyamine in a ratio of active amine hydrogen atoms to epoxide gps. of greater than 25:1. The amt. of the poly(alkylene oxide) monoamine or diamine used to produce the intermediate is sufficient to provide a stable soln. or emulsion of the epoxy hardener compsn. in aq. medium. Also claimed is the above epoxy hardener compsn. in an aq. medium.
