VEHICLE DOOR WITH WATERPROOF EQUIPMENT MODULE AND REMOVABLE MEDALLION IN THE TRIM PANEL

Vehicle door in the interior face of which is arranged a lateral opening comprising a door module (5) provided with equipment including a lock (30) and a window regulator with at least one guide rail (7, 8) cables (9, 11), this module comprising an interior panel (20) of lining on which said equipment is mounted, characterized in that in the upper part of the panel (20) is formed an opening (31) around the periphery of which may be removably applied a medallion (32) complementary constituting said panel, and to which is fixed a support (24) of the lock (30). This arrangement makes it possible to remove, if necessary, the lock (30) from the door after assembly of the module (5) with the latter, without first having to disassemble the whole of the trim panel (20); this extraction of the lock (30) can be done by simple removal of the medallion (32) integral with the latter. This opening allows access to the motor, window regulator and electronics for possible replacement of one of them.
