PURPOSE: To prevent transfer mount from softening by a method wherein the Clash-Berg softening temperature of polyvinyl chloride employed for the transfer mount is set to be higher than the predetermined temperature in the transfer sheet concerned used for furniture or the like by vacuum laminating method or the like. ;CONSTITUTION: The Clash-Berg softening temperature of polyvinyl chloride used for transfer mount is set to be 55°C or higher. The softening temperature is set by adding or the like 0.1-10 pts.wt. of the copolymer of heat resistant styrene-based resin such as α-methylstyrene and N-phenyl maleimide and maleic anhydride to 100 pts.wt. of VINYL chloride resin. As the plasticizer of the polyvinyl chloride, tri-2-ethylhexyl trimellitate or the like is used. Its loading is set to be 8 pts.wt. or less to 100 pts.wt. of resin. Transferring is performed by separating the transfer mount from decorative layer, which is brought into tight contact with the surface of a molded article by laminating transfer sheet with the transfer mount through vacuum forming.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
