PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a kindling property, a wind breaking property, and appearance by providing a decorative front face plate (a wind breaking plate) with glass windows capable of rising and falling on a hanging lantern comprising a candle stand, a rear face plate, a roof plate, or the like by means of hinges. ;SOLUTION: On a foundation table 2 equipped with a candle stand 4, a rear plate 3 having a mirror-finished front face and a roof plate 6 are attached, and a front plate (a wind breaking plate) 5 having windows 5a with a glass plate 7 is mounted capable of rising and falling by means of hinges, thereby forming a hanging lantern 1 for a grave. The lantern 1 for a grave is formed into a semicircular shape in its plan view, a three mirror shape, and a polygonal shape, and a decorative portion 3a is formed for improving its appearance. Diffused reflection caused by the mirror faces creates a scene as if a plurality of candles stand there. When the candle is set fire, the front face plate 5 is fallen about a fulcrum of the hinges, and after setting fire, the front face plate 5 is raised to engage.
