PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light shielding photosensitive material roll which makes a light shielding sheet hardly removable from the photosensitive material roll in a preservation state and makes the photosensitive material sheet easily removable after the roll is loaded into a machine.;SOLUTION: This light shielding photosensitive material roll includes the photosensitive material roll 1, a disk-shaped light shielding member 4 which are mounted at both ends of a winding core 2 of this photosensitive material roll, and the light shielding leader 5 which is joined to the front end of the long-sized photosensitive material sheet 3 of the photosensitive material roll, is longer in the length than the circumference of the disk-shaped light shielding materials and is annexed with fine pieces 7, which are made of heat shrinkable light shielding films linger in the length than the circumference of the disk-shaped light shielding member 4 so as to overhang respectively in a transverse direction, to both sides of the long-sized light shielding sheet 6 approximately the same in the width than the width of the long-sized photosensitive material sheet and are tearable long the longitudinal direction. The overhanging parts made of the fine pieces of the heat shrinkable light shielding films are fused in a heat shrunk state mainly in the longitudinal direction on the outer surface beyond the outer peripheral edges of the disk-shaped light shielding materials.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
