METHOD FOR PRESENTING STUDY CONTENTS IN MULTI-MEDIA TEACHING MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for presenting study contents in a multi-media teaching material by which independent study can be made to proceed according to the progress of a learner him-/herself, and also restriction of study environment and operability can be improved. SOLUTION: An initial screen composed of an explanatory note describing contents of study in sentences consisting of characters, numerical characters, marks, etc., and graphics consisting of figures, numerical expressions, etc., relating to the explanatory note is displayed on a computer display, and when a mouse cursor is moved onto one of the sentences or clauses composing the explanatory note, only the sentence or clause indicated by the mouse cursor is highlighted in the explanatory note and also CG data of the contents supplementing the sentence or clause are read out and displayed on the initial screen, and when the mouse cursor is set off the sentence or clause, the display is returned to the initial screen.
