PURPOSE: To provide a method of always stably measuring pH of an electrolytic acid solution by utilizing a metallic oxide pH electrode which is easily used in a hospital, farm, home or the like. ;CONSTITUTION: A metallic oxide pH electrode is immersed in a water containing residual chlorine until a voltage relative to an electrolytic acid solution with prescribed pH becomes stable. After that, a voltage obtained from the electrolytic acid solution with prescribed pH by means of the metallic oxide pH electrode is regarded as a prescribed pH, thereby the method of measuring pH of the electrolytic acid solution can be attained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
