PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability and the temperature controllability of a temperature nystagmus inducing unit for inspecting the movement of an eyeball by blowing air, having temperature different significantly from the body temperature, to the ear. SOLUTION: A tubular heat exchanger 10 passing cooling liquid and a heater 11 are provided in a probe 2 having a nozzle part 6 for blowing out the air. Pressurized air being fed out from a pressurized air supply section 7 provided in the body 3 is overcooled temporarily by means of the heat exchanger 10 before being controlled to a specified temperature by means of the heater 11. Cooling liquid of 0 deg.C or lower supplied from a cooling liquid supply section 8 provided in the body 3 circulates through the heat exchanger 10.
