PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage to a needle portion during acupuncture treatment and prevent the needle portion from dropping off an operating cylinder if broken at a caulked position, although the rear end of the needle portion and the operating cylinder portion are firmly interconnected by caulking.;SOLUTION: A needle A comprises the needle portion 1 with the rear end 1A connected to the operating cylinder portion 2 fitted therearound. A cylindrical needle pipe 3 having a inside diameter such that the needle A can pass therethrough is freely removably fitted over the needle A while protecting the needle portion 1 of the needle A. Further, the rear end 1A of the needle portion 1 and the operating cylinder portion 2 are interconnected by caulking at a plurality of positions along the direction of the needle axis X. Of the caulked parts formed by the caulking, the first caulked parts 5 located at the tip of the needle are formed in three or more circumferentially spaced apart positions on the operating cylinder portion 2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
