PURPOSE: To improve turning round property at the initial time of steering operation. ;CONSTITUTION: A steering sensor and a car speed sensor are read at step 102, and rear wheel same phase steering angle target is set at step 103. Also, a steering torque sensor is read at step 104, and the torque value is differentiated at step 105. Steering angle target in rear wheel reverse phase is set based on the steering torque and the differentiated value at step 106. The rear wheel steering angle target is set by the sum of the set same phase steering angle target and reverse phase steering angle target at step 107. The read value of a rear wheel steering angle sensor is directed toward the above-mentioned steering angle target at step 108, and rear wheel steering is controlled at step 109. For this reason, when a driver operates steering wheel with the intention of turning, a vehicle is steered in reverse phase by the differentiated value of steering torque which expresses the driver's intention.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
