PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing nanosized Cu-Al2O3 complex pow der in which fine alumina particles are uniformly distributed. ;SOLUTION: In this method for producing nanosized Cu-Al2O3 complex powder, aggregated Cu oxide and Al oxide powders are produced, the growth of the Al oxide is suppressed by reduction and only the Cu oxide is reduced into copper. The process consists of a solution producing stage in which water soluble salts of copper and aluminum are dissolved in water, a stage in which the produced solution is atomized and dried to produce primary powders, a desalting stage in which the primary powder is heat treated in air and desalted, and in which copper and aluminum are oxidized at the same time to synthesize oxide complex powders composed of copper oxide and aluminum oxide and a reducing stage in which only copper oxide is reduced into copper by heat treatment.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
