PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To weigh the material in a plurality of tares individually and continuously using a single weigher by storing a starting value of weighing based on a detection signal from a tare position detector and determining the variation of weighed value by subtracting the starting value of weighing from a weighed value. ;SOLUTION: When a tare A side position detector 15 detects the position for throwing a material into the tare A, a weighed value W from a weigher 11 is stored as a starting value ΔWA of tare A in a memory 24 and the variation of weight ΔWA is operated according to a formula; ΔWA=W-WSA. The variation of weight ΔWA is then added to an end value WEA of tare A weighed previously thus determining the weight of material HA in the tare A according to a formula; WA=ΔWA+WEA. The operation is repeated continuously at a constant period when a sorter 14 is positioned on the tare A side. Finally, when the detector 15 on the tare A side produces no output, the weight WA of material in the tare A is stored, as the end value WEA of weighing, in a memory 25.
