PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for automating the frequently repeated work to adjust the rotational speed of a steaming drum and a stirring shaft of a tea steaming machine while inspecting the change and the steamed degree of the raw tea leaves to realize stabilization of the steamed degree, and to provide the automatic and sure operation. ;SOLUTION: The controlling elements of a tea steaming machine are changed to prescribed levels according to the time lapsed from the start of the picking of raw tea leaves in a tea picking season.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
