PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article vending data processor which can issue a deposit card and a deposit article collection device which can perform a deposit process by using the deposit card.;SOLUTION: When it is decided that a registered article is a deposit object article, the amount of money deposited for the deposit article is cumulatively stored on the deposit card, which is issued. When a deposit article is collected to a deposit article collecting mechanism, the amount of money deposited after the collection can be calculated by subtracting the amount of money deposited for the deposit article from the amount of deposited money which is read by a card storage content read means, the amount of money deposited for the deposit article is added to the amount of paid money which is read by a card storage content read means to calculate the amount of money paid back after the collection, and the amount of money paid out after the calculation and collection and the amount of money deposited after the calculation and collection can be written and stored on the deposit card.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
