PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a can for potable water, on which an improvement is achieved that a coffee can or the like warmed by a vending machine or the like can easily be held immediately after being taken out of the vending machine or the like. ;SOLUTION: A pair of can holding parts 20, 20 are provided on a side face 12 of a cylindrical main body 11 of the coffee can 10, ranging from an upper face part 13 to a bottom face part 14. Potable water shut-off parts 21, each having a substantially semicircular shape in section, are provided on an inner wall face 22 of the cylindrical main body 11 on the rear face side of the can holding parts 20, 20, ranging from the upper face part 13 to the bottom face part 14 so as to correspond to the positions where the can holding parts 20, 20 are formed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
