PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for speedily changing the set temperature of a temperature controlled fluid in a heat exchanger. SOLUTION: The heat exchanger 14 is provided with the first circulation system 1 for feeding a heating medium for temperature control for making the thermostatic fluid at a necessary temperature, a second circulation system 2 where the heating medium for changing a temperature adjusted to be at a temperature to which the temperature controlled fluid is tried to be changed is circulated, a communicated duct 5 for communicating the system 2 with the exchanger 14, and a cross valve 6 for feeding the heating medium for changing the temperature flowing through the system 2 to the exchanger 14 by switching. Since the heating medium for changing the temperature of the second circulation system adjusted to the temperature to which it is desired to be changed is fed to the exchanger 14 of the system 1 when the valve 6 is switched, the set temperature of the temperature controlled fluid is speedily changed.
