PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snow-layer formation device capable of easily forming a snow-layer in a part of a vertical wall surface in a snow-board artificial sliding-course and a part of a down slope continued to the vertical wall surface and easily forming a thick snow-layer to repair even when the snow-layer is cut off. SOLUTION: A snow-layer formation device 1 equipped with an installation section 5 for installing it on the upper part of a vertical wall, a snow supply inlet 6 provided at a part of the installation section 5 in order to supply snow to the inside thereof and a form 7 connected to the installation section 5, having a shape capable of being set so as to cover it along the surface 3, at the same time, storing snow supplied to the inside from the snow supply inlet 6, and capable of forming a snow layer 8 having proper width and thickness by bringing the snow into contact with the surface 3 to adhere is used.
