PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a transgenic rice plant or its cell capable of providing amylose-containing rice, namely, rice simultaneously satisfying low allergen and excellent flavor in spite of the absence of rice plant waxy protein being rice allergen. ;SOLUTION: This transgenic rice plant or its cell has a genome to which a DNA encoding a non-rice plant amylose synthase lowly allergic to a rice allergic subject is transferred and contains no rice plant waxy protein or its fragment.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
