ELECTRONIC RECEPTION SYSTEM USING TABLET AND TELEPHONE NUMBER DICTIONARY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a system which eliminate the trouble to enter an address and a name into a visitor's book by shortening the entry time and putting the visitor's book in a database when the address and name are entered into the visitor's book at the time of reception. ;SOLUTION: Address data are quoted from a telephone number. Further, the telephone number is inputted on a tablet with an electronic pen. Handwriting data on a name which is possibly misrecognized are saved as they are and only the telephone number is recognized as characters. For deficiency of terminals, input to an auxiliary entry card is done and its telephone number is recognized by an OCR and processed in the same way with data from terminals to complete the database.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
