PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the waiting time until DRAW of a new track is started when the new track is DRAWed on a finalized CD-RW disk. ;SOLUTION: Related to the CD-RW dusk that effective information are recorded respectively on a read-in area, a program area and a read-out area, and the recording is completed, the new track is superscribed/DRAWed succeedingly the recording terminal position of the recorded effective track of the program area. After the DRAW is ended, the read-in information of the read-in area is erased. Or, the read-in information is superscribed with the new read-in information equivalent to the contents after DRAW.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
