METHOD FOR PREVENTING MOISTURE ABSORPTION OF CHAMBER FOR CASTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the moisture absorption of all of internal structural members including a crucible of casting device chambers during storage by minimizing the modification and addition of the casting device. ;SOLUTION: Inert gas is injected into the chambers 1 and 2 housing the crucible 4 housing metal 15 to be melted and a casting mold 6 in which the metal is poured and the melting and casting of the metal 15 are executed in the oxygen-free atmosphere state in the chambers 1 and 2. The prevention of the moisture absorption in the chambers of the casting device after casting is executed by hermetically closing the chambers 1 and 2 and sealing the inert gas therein by utilizing part of the sequence at the time of the casting operation.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
