PURPOSE:To shorten the cut length by notching a melting notch portion along a line which is to be the opening of a guiding U-shaped hole and notching a melting notch portion along a line which is to be the melting notch portion, so that the positions of the maximum notching ends may come near to the respective positions of the semicircular ends of a pin receiver, when blanking welding is performed for a coarse steel plate. CONSTITUTION:When blanking melting is performed for a coarse steel plate, melting notch portions 14, 15 are respectively notched along a line (a) which is to be the opening of a U-shaped hole 8', so that the positions (b), (c) of the maximum notch ends of the melting notch portions 14, 15 may come near to the respective positions of the semicircular ends of a semicircular pin receiver 12 which is to be formed in a following machining process. In this way, when a phid truly circular hole is completed by machining in the following process, the length of the plate cut to form the opening of the U-shaped hole 8' can be shortest in size limit, S1, S2. The extremely short cut length results in greatly reduced labor and time for after-cut maintenance.
