PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound source selection device that makes it possible to listen to the sound information from a sound source selected by selecting a specific sound source among a plurality of sound sources while listening to the sound information of other sound sources at the same time. ;SOLUTION: The sound source selection device is provided with a sound source selection instruction section 34 that gives a sound selection instruction to select one of a plurality of sound sources to be a main sound source and the others to be sub-sound sources, a sound volume control section 31 that applies sound volume control to each sound source on the basis of the sound source selection instruction signal with respect to a plurality of sound sources, a composite section 32 that composites the sound information sets from the respective sound sources subjected to sound volume control, and an output section 33 that outputs the composite sound information. Then the sound sources are placed on a virtual circumference at a prescribed interval, lines connecting the center of the circle of the circumference and the respective sound sources are used for reference lines, when the position to select any of the sound sources to be the main sound source is designated, the sound volume of the respective sound sources is decided on the basis of angle information among the line connecting the designated position and the center of the circle and the respective reference lines.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
