PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for automatically measuring chlorobenze capable of analyzing exhaust gas of a waste refuse incinerator without requiring a dehumidifier. SOLUTION: This analyser is equipped with a cold trap injector 4 for collecting and concentrating chlorobenzene, a gas chromatograph apparatus 5 and a detector 6 and an electron capture detector is used as the detector 6. A concentrator having a cooling means for cooling chlorobenzene to at least 10 deg.C or lower and using an adsorbent may be provided in place of the cold trap injector 4. Further, the concentrator 3 has dry purge function and is compact and can be rapidly raised in temp. and a polysiloxane type silica capillary column is used as the separation column of the gas chromatograph apparatus. In this analyzing method, the concn. and dry purge of exhaust gas are performed within a temp. range of 0-5 deg.C and the initial temp. of the thermostatic tank of the gas chromatograph apparatus is set to 50 deg.C or lower.
