PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device able to surely confirm the closure of the lid of a riser tube in a coke oven only by simply installing it on an existing apparatus for coping with the automation of a charging carriage for coke oven.;SOLUTION: The device is installed on the charging carriage for coke oven. The closure of the lid of the riser tube is surely confirmed by placing the device, that is, a lid closure confirming device comprising a limit switching 31 and a striker 33, on a damper 19 of a damping mechanism 14 of a riser tube's lid closing device having a rising mechanism and the damping mechanism 14.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
