(ECIC-93)Automatic Sealing System for Coke Oven Charging Hole Lids

摘要

The charging holes of coke ovens must be caulkedafter charging to avoid raw gas emissions. There areseveral different ways of implementing an automaticsealing system. The problem is to find a systemwhich fulfils all the different requirements, i.e. it mustbe reliable, efficient, precise, economical andenvironmentally friendly. At HKM such a system wasdeveloped and successfully implemented.
