PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closure confirming device for a lid of dust collection duct which can prevent the collision of a moving vehicle for a coke oven such as a charging carriage with the lid of dust collection duct and the damage of the moving vehicle by confirming the full closure of the lid of dust collection duct on the ground, and which is less expensive and suitable for automation.;SOLUTION: The closure confirming device is placed on the moving vehicle for a coke oven. Duct's lid closure confirming devices (24, 25) and position detectors (20, 27) for duct's lid closing lever are installed on a rotatable duct's lid closing lever 15 which opens and closes the lid 32 of the dust collection duct on the ground.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
