PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for the production of a paving mixture capable of reducing the expense and having excellent quality. ;SOLUTION: A mixture composed of properly compounded aggregate and stone powder, etc., and heated at 100-250°C is charged with granular asphalt and mixed to effect the melting of the granular asphalt by the heat of aggregate and obtain the objective paving mixture. Preferably, the weight of the granular asphalt is ≤100 g, the thickness of the thickest part is ≤10 mm, the melting point of each particle is 115°C and the granule is coated with a thermoplastic resin layer having a thickness of ≤100 μm.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
