SIDEWALK-ROADWAY BLOCK ADJUSTING FITTING, AND BOUNDARY BLOCK CONSTRUCTION METHOD USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sidewalk-roadway boundary block adjusting fitting, which eliminates bothersome manual labor required when sidewalk-roadway boundary block is constructed, facilitates construction of the block, and shortens a construction period, and to provide a boundary block construction method using the fittings. ;SOLUTION: The sidewalk-roadway boundary block adjusting fitting 1 is obtained by crosswise connecting a leg rod 2a equipped with an auxiliary rod 2c for adjusting the height to a receiving rod 2d for supporting a block to form a shelf rod 2, linking a pair of the shelf rods 2 together by a horizontal rod 3a in a manner being spaced a predetermined interval, so that each receiving rod 2d is orthogonal to the horizontal rod 3, and forming male screws 3a at right and left edges of the horizontal rod 3, which are stopped by nuts. To construct the boundary blocks, after crushed stone rolling foundation work, the plurality of sidewalk-roadway boundary block adjusting fittings 1 are arranged at predetermined intervals, and longitudinal front and rear ends of the sidewalk-roadway boundary block are mounted on the adjacent receiving rods 2d of the respective adjusting fittings. Then, concrete forms are erectly assembled at right and left edges of the horizontal rod 3 by using the male screw portions in a manner pinching the receiving rod 2d by lateral edges of the forms, and thereafter concrete is placed so that the entire of the adjusting fittings 1 and part of a lower portion of the sidewalk-roadway boundary block are covered.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
