SOLUTION: This tyrosinase activity inhibitor, moisturizing agent, astringent agent or cosmetic composition contains a percolate of stone named Syotoku stone produced in Japan and one or more selected from a milk serum, an aloe vera extract and a fucus extract. The cosmetic composition is specific in tyrosinase activity-inhibiting, moisturizing and astringent actions and capable of reducing spots and freckles in the skin. The cosmetic material is capable of imparting luster and tension to the skin owing to its moisturizing properties and finely controlling the skin surface owing to its astringent properties, further has improving effects on eczema and chapped skin.
