PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control system designed to facilitate the safe feed of manually reaped grain culms in harvesting activities with a combine harvester equipped with body horizontality control unit and improve grain culm separation performance as well. ;SOLUTION: This control system has such a scheme that a normal body horizontality control A is performed by taking in the respective detection values given by an angle sensor 5 and a body height sensor 6 for making a judgment when a manually handling switch 7 set up on the body horizontality control unit A stands off, whereas when the switch 7 stands on, a manually handling posture control E is performed in such a way that by recognizing the control flag for manually handling operation, a judgment for 'wait'/'control' is made, and in the case of 'control', a lift drive unit 3 is actuated so as to allow the body height to descend to the lowermost level while maintaining the body horizontality within a target range; in a manually handling operation with the body put to a halt, the control flag indicates 'wait', and a solenoid valve 37 is subjected to no output, and the on-off operation by the manually handling switch 7 for changeover is made between the normal body horizontality control A and the manually handling posture control E with the body to a standstill while keeping its horizontal posture intact at the lowermost position.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
