PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assisting utensil for cooking and a cooking pot with such an assisting utensil for cooking by which stirring operation especially for cooking noodles is reduced or eliminated, circulation of boiling hot water is made in such a way that the water rises in the center of the cooking pot, is distributed radially on the surface of the water, lowers on the inner surface of the perimeter wall of the cooking pot and is gathered in the reverse radial direction for stirring the noodles by moving them here and there by the rising convection for preventing the noodles from becoming a cluster and an object to be cooked is efficiently cooked by immediately propagating the thermal energy before loss of thermal energy to the object to be cooked. ;SOLUTION: The assisting utensil for cooking is provided with a first opening 3 formed in its top, a second opening 4 which is formed in a lower position than the first opening 3 and has a larger area than the first opening 3, an outside wall 7 which has all inner wall surface 6 which gradually enlarges from the upper end toward the lower end around the perimeter of a space 5 formed by the first opening 3 and the second opening 4 and flow parts 8 which are formed in the lower part of the outside wall 7 and through which liquid can freely flow.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
