PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floating type catcher for game capable of utilizing a used container for a toy, and bringing a novel type of fun at a low cost, and a toy using the catcher from the viewpoint of reuse in consumers related to a floating type catcher for a game capable of playing a game using a used container such as a PET bottle, a toy using the floating type catcher for game, and a method for using the floating type catcher for game to play a game using such a container. ;SOLUTION: In this floating type catcher for game for catching an object sinking in the bottom part of a container having flexibility filled with liquid in a sealed condition to play a game, a catcher main body 1 is provided with a float 2, and catching legs 6 installed on the float 2 openable and closable, the catcher main body 1 is set at such buoyancy that it can float in liquid filled in the container, and that is sinks in the liquid when the liquid filled in the sealed condition is pushed from the outside, and the catching legs 6 are composed to be opened by resistance of the liquid.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
