PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition which can efficiently and strongly catch substances generating the smells of aged persons. SOLUTION: This composition for controlling the smells of aged persons contains an ethanolamine. The ethanolamine is preferably diethanolamine. The diethanolamine is contained in an amount of 0.001 to 20.0 wt.%. The composition is preferably a preparation for external use for skin. The preparation for external use for skin is preferably a whole body shampoo or lotion.
