PASTE FOR SEEDLING RAISING CULTURE SOIL AND SEEDLING RAISING CULTURE SOIL USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain both a paste for a seedling raising culture soil capable of providing a stable solidified state in a root ball part, having excellent transplantation suitability and forming seedlings with soil having low mechanical resistance during mechanical transplantation, further suppressing the seedling damage during the mechanical transplantation and improving the root taking and growth of crop seedlings in a field and the seedling raising culture soil using the same paste. SOLUTION: This paste for a seedling raising culture soil comprises a polymer having anionic functional groups and 25 and =70 mol% anionic degree. The average value of protruding resistance of a root ball part of seedlings with soil formed from the seedling raising culture soil solidified with the paste for the seedling raising culture soil is =0.30 kg/cm2.
