PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bridge/elevated road expansion joint device capable of solving an problem even if distance between connected bodies of the expansion joint device is long and coping with an earthquake resistant construction specifications (specifications). ;SOLUTION: A bridge/elevated road expansion joint device is equipped with a pair of joint walls 32 and 32 erected parallelly at a specific interval and a buffer sealing body 34 placed between the joint walls 32 and 32. Then, the buffer sealing body 34 is formed by vertically holding foam elastic bodies 52 with covering sheets 54 having a shape capable of following the expansion of distance between the joint walls 32 and 32 and a bearing sheet 56.
