PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for improving the characteristic of dehydrated cake capable of improving the characteristic of the dehydrated cake to the characteristic suitable to building materials and treating a large amount of the dehydrated cake.;SOLUTION: This apparatus has a dehydrated cake improving path 22 which is installed in a vertical type so as to allow the dehydrated cake and reforming material fed from an upper feeding port 24 to flow down to a lower discharge port 26 by utilizing their own weights, deformed pipes 28 which are installed in plural units in mid-way of the dehydrated cake improving path 22, are formed with inlet ends at their top ends and outlet ends at their bottom ends and are continuously changed in their cross-sectional shapes from the inlet ends toward the outlet ends and confluence and division means which are disposed between the inlet ends and outlet ends of the respective deformed pipes and induce the confluence and division in the dehydrated cake and a reforming material flowing down in the respective deformed pipes. According to such apparatus, the plural deformed pipes 28 mechanically mix the dehydrated cake and the reforming material by utilizing their own weights. These raw materials are continuously mixed during the downflow from the upper feeding port to the lower discharge port, by which mixing efficiency is extremely improved.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
