The packaging (4) contains bulbs (1) and nutrients (5), and comprises a packaging section (2) which is biodegradable in the soil, and a packaging section (3) which is not biodegradable. The packaging is buried in the soil and then after flowering, all the bulbs are dug up at once using the non-degraded packaging section.
