The invention relates to a retractor for spinal nerve roots, meant to be employed in spine surgery in case of discal herniae or vertebral tumors. According to the invention, the retractor comprises a cone-shaped portion (b) on which a scalpel rest lenticular area (e) and a bent area (c) are provided, sid bent area (c) being placed during surgery under the nerve root or under the dural sac and having a circular or lenticular-shaped cross-section.
