Both immune responses to active immunization and endogenous production of autoantibodies are inhibited. Consequently, no circulating immunocomplexes which can give rise to deposits in tissues/organs are formed. In parallel, there is total blockage of the development of lymphoadenopathy in the form of lymphocyte proliferation.
