Instant nondestructive meter flavor of the fruit by light, able to measure nondestructively the internal fruit taste based on the analysis of the optical spectrum of diffuse reflectance of the fruit through the skin radiation and quality modeling for predicting the same in individual fruit. this equipment is characterized by being able to predict the contents of flavor components of fruits, especially total sugars and acids in tomatoes, by applying a fiber optic probe on the surface thereof, and classify each fruit instantly a degree of flavor. The equipment comprises: A computer (1), a controller signal (2), a monochromator (3), a light source (4) and optical fiber guides (5). This equipment is applicable to the sampling of product quality in production centers, dispatch and receipt of fruit, and at points of sale to the consumer. **FIGURE**
