Process and formulations for obtaining thermoplastic / lignin composites in a thermokinetic mixer in conditions of thermal degradation to ensure adequate dispersion of lignin in the thermoplastic matrix and result in materials whose physical, mechanical and thermal properties confer various applications. The plasticization kneading process-relevant, it is performed in two stages: first, heating and melting the thermoplastic; second, mixing the polymer with the lignin. Thus it is achieved to minimize the time that lignin is subjected to elevated temperature and minimizing its thermal degradation.
