Procedure genetic transformation of adult plants of woody species. The procedure is based on the use, as vegetable starting material for transformation, the first shoots resulting from the grafting of buds of adult trees on rootstocks, genetic transformation of explants from the adult brotaciones by co-cultivated with Agrobacterium tumefaciens mother plates, and obtaining complete adult woody plants by in vitro micrograft on rootstocks cultured in vitro, of buds, apices or transgenic shoots regenerated from the explants. This procedure avoids the juvenile period and high heterozygosity affecting most woody species, flowering and fruiting of transgenic plants comes forward and allows direct genetic transformation of varieties of commercial interest.
