Installation for recovering water from electrolytic bath effluent contains recycling chamber linked to effluent feed pump, heat exchanger for heating effluent, and suppressor for assisting effluent filtration
Effluent (30) is pulsed by a feed pump (3) into a recycling chamber (5) where it is heated using a heat exchanger (8) working in conjunction with an effluent recirculation pipe. A thermostat (9) is used to activate a suppressor (10) once a pre-selected effluent temperature is reached, so that effluent is sucked through a collector/separator device (11) for filtration. An installation for recovering liquid effluent from electrolytic baths used in industry to treat work-pieces includes a tank (1) with an incoming pipe (2) for supplying untreated effluent, and connected to a recycling chamber via a pipe containing a feed pump (3) for pulsed delivery of the effluent to the chamber. A sensor (6) is used to measure how full the chamber is, and this information is used to control an effluent circulation pump working in conjunction with a heat exchanger to increase the temperature of the untreated effluent. Once the temperature has reached a pre-selected value, a thermostat connected to the chamber is used to activate a suppressor sucking effluent through a collector/separator device. A pipe (12) connected to the suppressor pulses moist air to the secondary part (14) of a further heat exchanger (13), the primary part (23) of this second heat exchanger being used to suck in air from the surrounding atmosphere and use it to deliver clean water to a tank (15) containing water for washing.
