New method for desalinating sea water.The subject of this invention is the desalination of sea water. The sea water enters via (1) and, after the air it contains is eliminated in (2), it runs through system A where it is cooled. Pump M raises the water to tank T where part of it is vaporised and compressed by evaporator-compressor C and passes through system D as steam at a higher pressure and temperature. The vaporisation heat takes it to a saline solution, where the water is partially frozen. The non- frozen water exits by (4) to cool the water in A (filler) and is discarded. The steam in D runs through (5) to melt the ice which comes out of (6). This water finishes desalinating by reverse osmosis.IMAGE
